What a liberation to realize that the "voice in my head” is not who I am. Who am I then? The one who sees that.

Hi, I'm Britney

social worker/psychotherapist
Massage Therapist (inactive)
Yoga Student/Teacher
I offer holistic and integrative counselling and psychotherapy, tailoring my approach to each individual I work with. My practice is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and curiosity, with a focus on creating a safe and welcoming environment for you to be fully yourself as you (re)discover well-being and fulfillment in your life.
Because something different is possible!

Therapeutic approach
Supporting adults (18+), providing holistic and integrative counselling & psychotherapy that considers all dimensions of self – physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual.
Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, sensations, memories, and impulses, especially the ones you may not always be aware of. As you gain a greater understanding of yourself, you’ll be empowered to take intentional steps that improve your health, relationships, and overall well-being. By working together, you will reconnect with your authentic self and move towards living a more balanced, connected, and meaningful life.
Relational & Trauma-Focused
Being relationally and trauma-focused, our work will recognize the profound impact that early relationships and experiences have on your life today. Together, we will co-create a reparative space where you can explore those experiences without judgment. Within the therapeutic connection, you can process your past, learn and practice effective relationship skills, and develop strategies to manage trauma-related symptoms in order to move forward, empowered and more resilient.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a behavioural therapy that empowers you to embrace the present and unlearn patterns of avoidance by developing and practicing new skills and committing to your personal values. ACT helps cultivate psychological flexibility, enabling you to take meaningful actions even in the presence of difficult thoughts and feelings. This approach enhances overall well-being, encouraging you to (re)focus on what truly matters in your life
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the cornerstone of developing insight. It is the skill of paying attention, on purpose, to the present moment without judgment. Being mindful allows you to be aware and attuned to what’s happening internally — your thoughts, emotions, and sensations — and externally — your behaviours and environment. When practiced consistently over time, you learn to act flexibly with intention and respond attentively to yourself and others. You’ll discover a sense of clarity, connection, and compassion that alleviates toxic stress and creates healthier relationships, bringing greater life satisfaction.
